I will make a quick apology for the hiatus and then we shall not speak of it again. Sorry. I was in a bit of a funk this winter due to some situational stressors that JUST WOULD NOT RESOLVE and didn’t feel much like knitting. I think my knitting mojo is back now, though, and I will make every effort to update regularly with suitable content.
Now that THAT is over with, I present to you my first FO of the summer. I find it only mildly amusing that I began knitting these socks on January 3. HA. I finished kitchenering the toe just before midnight so I’m going to count my finishing date as June 29.

Pattern: Monkeys, by Cookie A.
Yarn: Knit Picks essential tweed in ‘trooper’, the better part of 2 skeins
Needles: Harmony DPNs (love these) in size US 2
They are currently blocking.
For now, though, we’re off for crabs and beer. We are Marylanders, after all.
